The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a good but predictable love story. Any one who has ever read a book knows the troupe: two people can’t stand each other, but fall in love anyways. What made this book different and good was it had a unique setting and situation for the characters. I’ve only read one other book set in Alaska, so I was immediately drawn to this book, because I wanted to learn more about it.

What I liked: the setting and the detailed descriptions. I liked most of the characters and enjoyed getting to know them. Knowing there was a sequel and that the story would continue.

What I didn’t like: The idea that such severe opposites would attract. Calla is super high maintenance and Jonah is the complete opposite. Also, at times Calla is annoying because of it. I don’t care that you brought thousands of dollars worth of makeup to Alaska.

Despite my dislikes I plan on reading the sequel because I’m a sucker for cute romance books. Also, I’m curious to see if or how Calla will change in the sequel.
