The Night Swim by Megan Goldin
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rachel Krall runs a true crime podcast and for the upcoming season she decides to follow a rape case trial. While in a small town in North Carolina, she keeps receiving anonymous letters from someone who believes her sister was murdered 20 years ago. Rachel starts investigating the letters and finds that her current rape case and the murder from 20 years ago may have more in common than it seems.

This was a quick little mystery and I enjoyed the true crime aspect of it. I enjoy listening to crime podcasts and so reading about one was also interesting for me. The story was a little bit predictable, but did keep me guessing at times. It did keep me entertained and was well written. I would be interested in checking out more books my Megan Goldin.

  1. I agree that it was entertaining. I wouldn’t have minded the predictable parts if I hadn’t figured them out before the expert investigator 🤷‍♀️
