Jane Anonymous by Laurie Faria Stolarz
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

On an ordinary Sunday, Jane’s life is changed forever. She goes to her job while it is closed to get a present she left there for her best friend. She is abducted from the store and locked up. When she finally escapes, seven months later, she has to leave Mason, who was also abducted behind.

Now that she is home everyone wants to go back to how life was before, but for Jane that is not possible. She needs to find Mason and save him too.

I found this book to be interesting. It was an easy read and I finished it in just over a day, but I struggled whether to give this book a 3 or 4. I picked 4 because I did enjoy it, but it was pretty predictable. I knew what was happening the moment a certain character entered the book. I think I was annoyed that Jane refused to accept it, but then I realized this could be my own ignorance because I don’t know how someone who has been held captive should act.

With that in mind I would recommend this book with a warning that it is predictable, but still entertaining.
