In Five Years by Rebecca Serle
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When I bought this book I thought I was going to be reading a romance book. Instead, this book is much more focused on friendship. I honestly wouldn’t even classify this as a romance at all. I thought it’d be a fun story set in the future about how she met the man literally from her dreams, but that wasn’t the case. Also, the ending seems a bit thrown together and not what readers are led to believe, which can be frustrating.

I enjoyed this book, but the blurb for it was very misleading. I don’t think it was intentional, but when starting this book I didn’t think I’d be crying the last few chapters of it. I think had this book been promoted differently it would have a lot more positive reviews. Overall, I would recommend this if you want to read a heartbreaking tale of friendship, similar to Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah.
