Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappa
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Eliza is a senior in high school with a secret identity. She creates a webcomic that millions of people read, but they have no clue she writes it. Eliza then meets Wallace, one the comics biggest fans. Eliza wants to be friends with Wallace, but she doesn’t want him to know it’s her comic.

I really liked how there were drawings and stories from her webcomic book sprinkled throughout the book, but I never could really figure out what the comic was about. That may have been intentional, however, because the book is about Eliza writing the webcomic and not just about the webcomic.

Overall, it was a good book and it kept me entertained while I was reading. I did enjoy learning more about online forums and fan fiction. Easy read, just wish we had learned more about the webcomic so the last scene would have made more sense to me.
