Caste by Isabel Wilkerson
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m pretty sure I would like anything by Wilkerson. I really enjoyed learning about history that I don’t know a ton about. I found the comparison between Hitler’s Germany, India, and the US really interesting. I knew about India’s caste system, but not a lot about it. I knew a lot about Hitler’s Germany, but never thought about it being a caste system before. I had never thought about the US being a caste system, but now I see how it makes sense.

I really like learning about new things and trying to broaden my horizons. If it helps me become a better person or stay a better person I am willing to read it. I don’t think it was as good as Warmth of the Other Suns, but I still enjoyed it a lot.

  1. I liked Caste. It was a very interesting read! Though the heaviness of the topic made it a more drawn out read for me. I have the Warmth of the Other Suns on my TBR shelf!
